Was any one else shocked, angered, and feeling down about the guy in Brooklyn that beat up an old lady for $35.00? I saw it on the news today.

I was disturbed by it and had to change the channel. It shows he is a coward because he had to go after an elderly lady. I heard she said if she was 15 years younger she would have went after him. I hope they find him and put him in jail to make him think about what he did.

I believe he also robbed another elderly lady the same day. He could have grabbed the money, there was no need to hurt her. Maybe he will be stupid enough to use her card at an ATM with a good photo camera.

I'm sure it's just a matter of time...these types of strong-arm thugs aren't known for their high I.Q.'s.

Up in Portland, couple of days ago, a gentleman who owns a small market asked a friend from his church to watch his store for an hour so he go to his Dr's appointment. About 10 minutes after this man took over a scumbag came in to rob the store and shot him in the head. He's in the hospital on life support. If he lives the best outcome they say is brain damged and paralized from the neck down.

I can't help but think that if this had been a white "thug" robbing a 101 year old black women the headlines would've read "Hate crime against 101 black women...Jesse Jackson speaks out". :?

Jpeters, I have got to say that you are right. I fell that a bigger deal would have been made if the tables were turned. Where is Rev. Al now?
