Is this Buffalo on display yet? Anyone know the latest with it? Is it going to be restored? Has anyone actually seen it in person?

The aircraft is in storage at present, and is not currently located at the Naval Aviation Museum, but rather off-site in Pennsacola somewhere. The eventual plan is to preserve her as is, in its original Finnish Air Force combat paint. This seems fitting actually, as this aircraft type saw great success with the Finns, as opposed to everywhere else. The aircraft itself has at least 13 kills too. Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Richard

What is happening with this Buffalo. Last I heard the Finns want it back.

There's a page on the NMNA website with a statement from the director about it.

I'd give you a link, but the sites' page is not accessible right now.

Try http://naval.aviation.museum/aircraft.html - but later...

Saw it a while ago. At that time one of the guys in the restoration shop was telling us about the custody battle.
