Ahhh finally. Some news on this bird.

Seems Mr Pearce is selling this jewel.

Anyone knows why :?: I was under the impression the aim was to restore it first & then sell it. Ressources available ?

Glad to see pics of it however. I also remember seing pics of the booms mostly redone with Flugwerk a few years ago.

BF110s BOUND FOR BERLIN...

The two Messerschmitt Bf 110s recovered from Russia by Jim Pearce in the early Nineties and subsequently sold to Sir Tim Wallis's Alpine Fighter Collection as long-term restoration projects have been sold again — and this time they are returning to Germany. Along with two of the Junkers Ju 87 Stukas also brought out of the former USSR by Pearce they have been acquired by the Museum für Verkehr und Technik in Berlin. The deal was made on behalf of Sir Tim's Alpinedeer Group by Tony Ditheridge's UK-based company Hawker Restorations... it is expected that the aircraft will be conserved and restored for static display.

Thanks Michael, I need to read everything before I ask again! Just got caught up in the images and did not really read it all.

Would be nice to see one back in the air again, but looks like it might not happen now.

It sure would be cool to see that 110 fly again. Although a german version of the 109 is nothing to sneeze at either. Alas, no winning lotto ticket here.

Hmm, that P-39 again. I hope they lowered down the price a bit.

Hi Guys,

Looks like some pretty neat stuff that they have listed on this site. The Bf-110 and the P-39 are the ones that spark my personal interest. ::sigh:: if only that silly Powerball Lottery ticket would miraculously surface in my wallet
