I have had to pull three topics this week due to complaints. These topics will be reviewed, edited, and returned to the hanger if deemed appropriate and when I have time. I once again ask people to be civil and to refrain from reacting emotionally to posts. If somebody does a personal attack please copy the URL of the post and e-mail me and I will deal with it.

Thanks.

P.S. The turret video was in no way offensive and I wouldn't have pulled it. Some of the comments were less that diplomatic and probably showed a momentary lack of judgement that resulted in the thread being pulled. I would have edited those comments out and returned the thread but the author wanted it pulled so it remains in storage.

There were several comments I would like to address.

1. Adult content: Flat out nudity is not allowed and all other risque items will remain only as long as nobody is offended by them. If I get a complaint they will be removed. However, nose art does NOT fall in this catagory. Nose art is historical in nature and I believe any attempt to suppress or alter it to conform to current PC trends is revisionist and I will not remove such items.

2. This forum is open to the public, everyone and anyone can view nearly every post here. Our popularity means that even more people view these threads. I would ask that people consider that before posting. We are all friends here and I expect people to act that way.

As my grandmother used to say....
"If you don't have something nice to say... well I should probably stop talking to you."
