I don't know if these have been brought up before, but I thought they are kinda cool. I have not been able to get any info from Brumm or seen them available anywhere. Anyone else know?

It's certainly something "different" in terms of collectables for the average WIX reader.

I looked at the news page and read "The illustrated wooden expo-box will be available exclusively in the United States for sale in shops, and will contain 12 assorted pieces of the two bombs: Little boy (series code A1) and Fat man (series code A2)." http://www.manhattanproject.it/E/highpage1.html

Can you imagine if I purchased one of these on the U.S. and was trying to take onboard the flight home to the UK as hand luggage ?

On a more serious note ~ wouldn't these make great seal items for the CAF B29/B24 Squadron ?

I think they should use the tooling to make A-bomb shaped candy and lollipops furs Kinderzimmer.

A buddy of mine who sells military surplus had this inert display for sale a while back...

Here is a replica that I have in my collection. It is 10 inches in length. Vrey detailed and the data plate is signed by Gen. Tibbets. My wife and I organized and hosted tours for Gen Tibbets throughout South Florida for several years. I have a large collection of Tibbets signed items.
