What kind of gear is the Corsair driver wearing?? Looks like one of those hard-shell leather helmets...and is that a Mae West I see in there?

That's the much-travelled N240CA, most recently sold (twice) by Provenance Fighter Sales. Purchased late last year by Mike Potter / Vintage Wings of Canada, and due to be ferried to their facility in Quebec sometime this Spring.
