This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Well, I've added some pages to my book, so I am in need of some new pix. Some of these planes may be easier to come by than the last batch, so I thought'd I'd give a shout out and see if anyone has anything...
Looking for:
Ju52
C-47
Stearman
Tiger Moth
Anson
Oxford
Storch
L4 Grasshopper
Swordfish
Po-2
Details regarding book and rights can be found in my earlier post, "Seeking Photos for Book" (I don't know how to paste a link for an earlier post in here, but it should around here somewhere...)
In a nutshell, anyone contributing gets a free pdf of the book and bragging rights. You keep all rights to image. Photos only 2 inches wide when published, so uber-quality pix not neccessary.
Post'em if you got'em!

I got a few. They are not the best of quality, but if you want to use them, go ahead.

I think I can help out with a couple of them. I'll have to check my photos when I get home and then scan them.

OK, I found a C-47 since my last post, from a different source. Also found an Anson. May have a Storch. Also have a Tiger Moth, although I would prefer a shot of one flying. Still need the rest...
Bear, I would prefer a less crowded Ju-52 shot, so I probably won't use that one. But I WILL still give you a PDF copy of the book because I appreciate you offering. If you PM me your email I will notify you as soon as it is available.

Wow, I'm overwhelmed guys!
Jeff, I nearly ducked when I saw that Ju52 shot! Awesome picture! I really need pix with the whole airplane in them, though. Great closeups lose a lot when they are reduced to small sizes, unfortunately. (I kinda want that one for my wall, though...) Do you have any of Aunty Ju with the whole plane in the picture?
Roger, I'd like to use your Stearman picture.
I may have found a Swordfish already, but if it doesn't work out, I may take you up on one of yours, Connery.
Regardless of what I end up using, you are all welcome to a free PDF of the book in exchange for your generous offers. Please PM me your email (or email me directly at fritz @ boomandzoomgraphics.com) so I can contact you when the book is ready. Also, if I am using your picture, let me know your fiull name and what year the photo was taken, so I can properly post the copyright notice in the book.
Thanks guys!

Awesome...thanks Jeff! I'll use the second one.
Make sure you PM me your email address!
You, too, Roger! BTW, Roger, what year was the Stearman photo taken?

I took the Stearman photo on April 21, 2002, along with a BT-13 in formation with it. They are Duncan Miller's birds at Nut Tree airport, CA...........
