Ztex wrote:#30: Is there a F-14 displayed in Fort Worth?
There is an F-14 at the front gate of NASJRB, and at the OV-10 Museum at Meacham Field. No other in town...that I know of.
LadyO2Pilot wrote:#30 and #32 There is also the OV-10 prototype displayed at the OV-10/FAC Museum as well as a static O-2A within the Vintage Flying Museum hangar at Meacham/Ft Worth. In their airplane garden they also have the F-14 "Christine" newly arrived and several other miltary jets.
Junkyard36 wrote:#8: Is there a Devil Dog Squadron in Georgetown? If so where?
The CAF Devil Dog Squadron is the home of the PBJ Devil Dog, located in the Pilot's Choice hangar.

Hope this helps.
Junkyard36 wrote:#24: Apparently there is a UH-1 on a pole in a park near downtown Corpus Christi. Where exactly?
There is a UH-1 on a pole in McCaughan Park, just south of the Corpus Christi Coliseum.
Junkyard36 wrote:#25: Are there a TBM and PBY displayed at Corpus Christi NAS? If so where?
CCNAS has evidently changed out several of their static display aircraft. I remember the PBY but not the TBM. Currently the only aircraft on static display on CCNAS is a TA-4J Skyhawk and a TC-12 Huron (King Air). The aircraft are located at the "air park" at the corner of Lexington Blvd and Avenue D.
Junkyard36 wrote:Related to #52: Apparently there is an A-4 displayed at an Independent School District school in Kingsville. Can you confirm? If so where exactly is it?
There is an A-4 on a pole about 4 miles south of Kingsville on US HWY 77 in Klegurg Park.
Again, hope this helps.

Conroe is just north of Houston.

It certainly does help. The address of Pilots Choice puts you at 30 41 01.35 N 97 40 27.84 W. Are they in one of the three long hangards, or the one closer to the flight line.

LadyO2Pilot wrote:I should have been more clear in my previous posting. The OV-10 prototype (inside hangar), the O-2A (inside hangar) and the F-14 (in the "garden") as well as static F-4, F-5 and 2 OV-10s in the "garden" belong to the OV-10 Assn/ FAC Museum which is co-located with Vintage Flying Museum. These aircraft do not belong to Vintage.....they have bunches of their own. I do not believe there is an OV-10 at Saginaw; that airport doesn't exist anymore and the closest is Hicks which doesn't have an OV-10. Hope this is clearer.
Junkyard36 wrote:Devil Dog is located at the main Pilot's Choice hanger, which is the one closest to the flightline (the 2nd most northern one).
Tim Landers wrote: #46: Does Hurricane Trucking in Pasadena have an F-86?
I called and the secretary said "not any more, and mentioned that the former owner of the Co. was a pilot and flew a bi-plane". Maybe he took it with him after he sold the Co.?
Tim Landers wrote:#49: Is there a UH-1 displayed at the West Houston Lakeside Airport?
I'ts not there anymore. I'll see if I can find where it went.

Can see the F-84 on the grass in the upper left and the DHC-4 on the tarmac. Not sure what the other planes are.
When I visited they had the OH ANG F-84, a DHC-4, an OV-1, and a MiG-21 that was formerly with the NWM. The MiG later moved back to the NWM and is currently at the Wings of Eagles or whatever they are calling it this week.

Do you mean David Tokoph's F-100F? If so it used to be in the same hangar as the F-106s are now. He also had the only McD 220 and you can see it in front of the hangar with the F-106s on your map link.

To the great pool of WIX eyes and ears... If you are from El Paso can you tell me if there is a F-100 displayed someplace in the city?
As for "David Tokoph", this is the first time I have heard the name. Does he operate a musuem, or is this some sort of a private enterprise? Is there a business name or URL?
