Gary, you are doing a great job. Asfor the personal stuff, I know it can be rough. You should consider taking a road trip with some friends for a couple of days to clear your head. The plane looks the best it ever has. And Me109, I love your quote about teachers and soldiers.

I have to thank Gary for another most excellent experience at the hagar today. I'll have to post my photos of the other goings-on in another thread, but as for the B-24, I've included a few more shots from today. Carl Scholl and his wife Carol arrived this morning with a wonderful suprise - as freshly restored greenhouse for the bombardier's position. 8)

Gary & Rob,

Thanks for posting the pics! Carl and his team at Aero Trader did a wonderful job on the nose section...it looks absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to see her in person!!! Gary...you looked kind of bummed out in the picture that Rob posted but given the stress you've been going through lately I'm surprised you even have your sanity. Keep up the good work guys!

Maybe Gary was counting rivets and the picture made him lose count and he had to start all over again............twelve thousand and one , twelve thousand and two.......... You reckon Consolidated used enough there Butch?

Boy! I am green with envy Gary!!!

If only I had saved up Air Fare before getting Laid-off work, I'd be there in a heart beat! But that might not sit too well with the wife, seeing as I have to finish my house before we can put it on the market.

Anyway....

Gary
Wow, what a great job you and the crews are doing! I just can't believe how great she looks and I really can't wait to get a chance to see her in person. Last year was the first time I ever toured the aircraft, the several times I saw it before the fact that she was a "cargo" bomber did not really draw me to see pay to tour it. Like Jack, I can say that was totally changed for me. If I ever get the money I'd love to also take a fight in her now!
