I saw the Hellcat and Zero NE of Mesa, AZ at 14:55 local, they were at about 5,000 ft heading SW.

Gary- Thanks for taking the time from your hectic schedule to answer about the Taylorcraft. Don't see too many in CPTP colors.I have always liked the L-birds, and they are a heck of a lot easier to work on than what you are doing.

Is that the same Twin Mustang that was a Gillespie Field a while ago?

Should have taken pics of it while it was there.

Vietnam exhibit

I can provide a little info on the Vietnam exhibit at CAF HQ. Featured in the exhibit are examples of aircraft flown in the Vietnam conflict including the F-105 Thunderchief, F-4 Phantom, F-100 Super Sabre, AH-1 Cobra and the UH-1 Iroquois. The F-105, F-4 and F-100 are on loan from the United States Air Force Museum at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. The AH-1 and the UH-1 are on loan from the U.S. Army.
