Pretty cool! 8) Two questions...what's you favorite piece?...and what does your wife think of it? My wife thinks I'm nuts but tolerates all the turret stuff in the basement just so long as it stays down there and doesn't migrate into any other part of the house.

My wife thinks I am nuts as well, although she does think that the basement looks"neat". My favorite piece? Wow that is like which kid is your favorite. I would have to say that the signed pic of me and Gen. Yeager together is up there, so is the stuff from my Uncle that was in the 8th Air Force

Very nice. Cute TV/movie car collection. I even see a Speed Racer Mach 5 there, one of my favorites.

If my paltry income as one of the rich lawyers who runs the country ever enables me to afford a room like that, I will be sure to post pictures of it.

Thanks guys. The pic of Brooke Burke is signed, I work with a relative of hers. The funny green piece you mention is a piece of the lower #3 engine nacelle from Shoo Shoo Shoo Baby that was replaced during it's restoration. A friend of mine that worked on it was told that he could have a few pieces of metal that was not being used. I also have a piece from the Memphis Belle, granted it is a scrap piece from it's restoration in the 90's, but I still think it is cool. And Steph, I also have a signed pic of Pappy Boyington in a frame with a head on pass from a Corsair. Another of my favs is the signed pic and letter I recieved from Dick Winters. the letter ends with a very nice sentence, he says"Chris, I hope that you and your wife have a very long and happy life." he is a true hero. I am really glad that you guys like it, as I was curious if you guys would think it is as cool as my local flying buddies do. But they don't know much about warbirds.

That stuff is really cool! All I have a burnt up Top Fuel Pistons, Dragster body parts and models! Although, I do have an AK-47, I don't think I should leave that out in the open, especially in CA!

I should go over to the aviation class and sweet talk them out of a cowling piece and put some Pin Up art on it.

The hub on that wooden prop looks rather First War and German. is it original? What do you know about it or is stamped on the boss?
