Two years ago we were at a fly-in at Newton, Kansas and met Robert Armstrong and his wife. Mr. Armstrong was a pilot in the 381st Bomb Group and told me that he had flown aircraft "N" several times. Bob wrote a great book entitled "Friendly And Enemy Skies" that is a compellation of his wartime diary entries.

Randy, if you look close at the nose bubble and top turret, it is a F model with G model cheeks. It is not a hard mod to do.
