Actually BWI and Reagan are two different airports. BWI is between the two cities and somewhat closer to Baltimore. If you are flying in to Baltimore you will most likely come in here. Reagan National is right on the Potomac the border of DC, near Arlington Cemetery.

Baltimore/Washington International "Thurgood Marshall" Airport/BWI is much closer to Baltimore than to DC and is effectively Baltimore's main airport. "Ronald Reagan" Washington National Airport/DCA is effectively a Washington, DC airport and is as mentioned on the Potomac River in Arlington County, VA just across from Washington. Washington Dulles International Airport/IAD is the other main Washington area airport on the border between Loudoun and Fairfax Counties in Northern Virginia.

Annapolis is a must see place..the naval academy has a number of birds scattered about and the town is a drinking town with a boating problem.
