Okay, I see these ads now and then on Barnstormers, and this is the latest one that caught my attention. $50,000? I am wondering who in their right mind would trade a J-3 or Citabria for this contraption? I know people trade hobbies for hobbies, but what are the economics of this? Don't people usually lose cash in deals like this?

J3 OR RV4 OR CITABRIA • $50,000 • AVAILABLE FOR SALE OR TRADE • 96"daytec softtail all custom call for info 50k 203 913 8456 brian • Contact Brian Eastman - located Huntington, CT USA • Telephone: 203-929-2851 • Fax: 203-374-2478 • Posted April 14, 2007 • Show all Ads posted by this Advertiser • Recommend This Ad to a Friend • Email Advertiser • Report This Ad

I agree...but then again some of these custom built bikes go for some big $$$'s. Of course I've never heard of one going for $50,000!!

My buddy just paid in the mid 40's for a custom bike, but when you put it in the way of would you trade your cub for it, I don't think so.

 $50,000 - $80,000 for a custom made bike! These folks must bring home some pretty hefty paychecks to pay for those kinds of toys.

I get a kick out of a few of the folks that drive these brand new expensive Harley's around here where I live. Looking at some of them you'd swear they were living high on the hog (no pun intended  ) until see that they are working 2 or 3 jobs and living in a run-down trailer park to pay for these expensive toys. Nothing like prioritizing your wants vs. your needs.
