I saw the flying Lawn Mower some 20 years ago at a place called the Flying Lady in Gilroy, CA at an R/C meet. They've been around for years.

I remember seeing one back in the 70's but I don't think it was flown as well as this one. If I remember correctly the ailerons were up on the handle and it might have had two sets of ailerons. There was also a flying Snoopy's Dog House with a profile Snoopy on the top probably acting as a rudder. The one I saw was a very marginal flyer. Other variatons of weird R/C flying things include a Witch on a broom, Superman, Porche, and a stop sign.
