Don't answer the front door, turn off the lights, hide the women and children......

The scourge of Creve Coeur Airport has returned and moves under it's own power once again. My Pink Cadillac is alive!

Tom,
Mary Kay would never condone anything this pink. It looks more like a bottle of Pepto-Bismol. For the record, I did not paint the car this color, I purchased it like this. I don't think I would have the courage to paint it like this.

John,
My wife was also speechless when I pulled up in this thing a few years ago. Needless to say, it is not allowed to live at the house.

My wife would be thinking the same thing if I drove up in that!

So what's your plans for the "pink passion wagon?" You could always "pimp" it out with gold accents and velvet leopard skin seats. I can just picture you driving around the hoods of St. Louis in your very own pimp-mobile!

All the more reason to park it in the driveway.

you should pimp it out with dingle balls across the interior windshield frame, fuzzy dice hanging on the rear view mirror, faux fur on the dash & steering wheel & interior, and add curb feelers to the wheels.... add the hydraulics so it will go up & down, put a stuffed dog with a knodding head in the back window, & we'll call it the wix nappy ho pimp mobile!!!!! it will be 1 st class!!!!!!!

I think this one has the 429. The last owner said it was the 472 but I think 68' was the first year for that. It could use a new engine one of these days, it burns and leaks enough oil to have a Wright or Jacobs engine data plate. Maybe I'll find one of the Cadillac 500 CID engines from the 70' Fleetwood. That would sure provide some "Woot"!

Tom, will pink fuzzy dice and faux fur around the rear view mirror do? I don't have a dog with a wobble head for the back seat but the eyes in this skull light up when you put the brake lights on. The blue dots in the tail lights were not enough.

The WIX nappy ho pimp mobile, I love it.

The car is epic, but what about that bike behind it? Could that be a Whizzer?

Nine months? It will be three years in June! I suck, but I am making progress. I plan on running it Wednesday evening to set the idle and turn up the oil pressure. I'm wondering what would happen if I just ran straight STP in it, or maybe 90 wt gear oil or maybe Motor Honey? I flew my father's Stearman over the weekend and noticed his oil pressure at about 80 psi. Maybe I should just turn his down so mine will not seem so low? Mine has a Holland Dixie Cup Cerma-Chrome (SP?) engine so maybe if I'm lucky, it will turn into a hand grenade this summer and I can put a fresh engine on it. Of course there's always that money issue. :x
