It’s a little late as I have been super busy as of late, but here are some pics of the extraciricular activites running amok throughout the CAF headquarters.

Here is the link to the main album with EVERYTHING. http://www.hotrodhucksters.com/chad/caf/

Here are some highlights...

We spent a couple hours climbing around Fifi. B-29s are amazing and I could have listened to Gary for hours.

Way cool that B-29s and ‘35-36 Fords share ashtrays!

My Dad LOVES cats. Skeeter took to him right away.

Great pics, and in that last one, you can really see why they call her a beast

The poor old Dragon... What a neat plane. Shame.

Image

Windstorm damage. I guess they found it further down the tarmac.

Image

After all the rattlesnake talk, I freaked out taking this pic cause I found a big hole. I actually wanted to see one as I never have before. Dad wouldn’t hear of it. :)

We were all eyeing these seats for a hot rod, but they will probably find a home in Ol 927, so that is cool.

Any guesses what this is? If you can’t figure it out, you will crap when I tell you. With a tree growing through it... Unbelievable.

Welcome to rattlesnake central!

Those are all great pictures. I could wander around there for weeks... I just love being around warbirds no matter what condition they are in.

It reminds me of my museum's storage barn. There's quite a few treasures in there and I could spend quite a bit of time in there too.

Cheers,

David

Way cool! Thanks for sharing your pics and expirience.

When ever I get the chance to look around the Aerospace stuff here I take it! Not as cool as what you guys got to see, but its still old plane stuff!

Yeah, those seats would be cool in a traditional rod!
