When I was a kid up in Washington back in the late 70s and early 80s there used to be a "formation" of 4 or 5 T-6s that used to do an intentionally bad formation show at airshows like Paine Field and Abbotsford. They'd have one gear hanging out, be flying all out of trim with full rudder deflection, etc...it was pretty funny for a kid at the time.
I know that one of the airplanes was Pat Palmer's "GOTCHA" but I have no idea as to the identity of the others.
Does anyone have any photos of this formation act?

Bud Grantley likely one of them also.
I'll ask a friend of mine if he has any photos.

Yeah, I'm sure Bud Granley was part of this act, too.

Randy,
I believe the group included Pat Palmer, Bud, Bob Jones and Keith McMann. You might ask Bob about it. I've got his email if you don't have it.
Last time I stayed at Bud's house, I saw a few pictures of them in his photo albums. When he gets back from vacation, I'll see if he can fix you up.

Yeap, it's the "Crazy" formation as invented by the Goldilocks.
Long live the RCAF, eh!
