Warbird Information Exchange

I found an entry in my notes of a Navion that belonged to the Quonset Air Museum. However the museum's website...

http://users.ids.net/~qam/qam/index.htm

...doesn't refer to a Navion in their aircraft list.

Has anyone here on WIX been to Quonset "recently" or at all? If you have do you remember a Navion?

Thanks for the note Rob. I went on a hunt and found and old Challenge Publications magazine that mentioned a QAM member owned a Navion that was often found at the museum. Any idea which one this might be?

I just saw the reference in a magazine, and since it is hard to find much about the Navions I took an interest. I don't have a picture. I am trying to build a list of warbird Navions for the registry, so where ever I can data mine some info I absorb what I can. There is much out there on the Web regarding the Navions.

Have you been to L-17.org? Lots of good info there.

Yes. It is the best L-17 site there is, but the survivor lists don't cover all of the Navion models, and like the rest of the web only one or two of the production block s/n and c/n tie-ups are known.
