That F4U-1 cat. shot is amazing... I have never seen a corsair with the national insignia so far back on the fuselage either... very cool shots, thanks for posting.

That was actually a ground crewman named "Burma Bob" Locke
who had the pet Leopard. There's a photo of the cat on the nose of a AVG 'E' model in Larry Pistole's book.
