Mike,

I took a look at #17 today during a lull at work, and saw a number of planes there. T-37, F-84, F-86, F-102, T-33 and a couple of others I can't recall.

Problem was that the photos in Google were useless, and the ones in Microsoft Live Search were all of different vintages. In some photos the planes were in one place and in others they were somewhere else. There was so much construction going on that I guess the planes were moved frequently. It doesn't help that I didn't know how old the photos were, either.

I guess we'll just have to wait on someone to survey it from the ground.

Sorry.

Walt

I didn’t have the Need Help list up-to-date for this one. They are actually at the Long Island Mac Arthur Airport near Brentwood. I just would like to know which hangar.

That is what I figured. Being an ANG base, they are not accessible to the public anyway. Are there any service people here on WIX visiting Syracuse sometime soon?

Thanks everyone!

Mike

#8: Which building does the Lucille M. Wright Air Museum occupy at the Chautauqua County Jamestown Airport near Jamestown? Are there any airframes in the collection?

#10: There may be a C-47 displayed someplace in Brooklyn. If so where is it?

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.
