"Queen of Hearts" 44-40185

Basiclly the "Heavenly Body" paint job but in the 90th bomb group and the shark mouth, from the Moby Dick group.

My Grandfathers aircraft. :D

I don't own one. It was hypothetical (spelling?) :D This was posted to to see what people would choose given the two choices!

Of the initial two, I'd go with "Queen Mae" since, as has been said, the Dragon has already appeared on a restored B-24.

However, I might go for one of the other Al Merkling creations that graced various recon Libs in that group. "American Beauty" springs to mind. Saw a pic of that once with the melancholy notation in the caption, "In 1949, this painting was still fading in the sun at Nadzab, somewhere among a jumble of junked B-24s waiting to be cut up..."

I'd like to change my vote to this nose art.
