Warbird Information Exchange

There you go, Steve. This was taken on a previous visit. Although now on the US register, it still has 'AWAH' painted below the port wing (they've blanked out the 'G-').

Still in fine fettle, and apparently used regularly as a photo ship and groundcrew ferry, just like in the old days with TFC!

I've been thinking about that alot lately, Im in the midst of reading the Glacier Girl book. I was told this week that the planes are now about 375 feet under the ice, a hundred more feet than 15 years ago. The figure I was told to pull out Glacier Girl was staggering, but of course that was many trips added up, when they hadn't got the science down yet. I hope somebody can do this, it seems a shame to leave it all up there. I can't wait for the show next week!!!!!!!!!

Sadly there are no updates on either's websites and emails go unanswered. Last I heard, both were shooting for the Summer of '07. Not sure that's gonna happen. But heres to hopeing.
