Carol Landis's P-38 Ride 1944

Here's a couple shots of Carol visiting the 18th FG on guadalcanal in May 1944 (or so).
she was the with a USO troupe which included Martha Tilton and both went for a ride with x-AVG ace Snuffy Smith now CO 12th FS.
The second photo was a joke on the 18th FG CO Col Adams showing Carol's panties with her initials on his a/c for clearly obvious reasons :shock:
