A friend of mine's dad flew with 336 Sqdn, and in addition to being a pilot, he was also a shutterbug and photo collector. One of those guys who really wanted to document his time over there ... his scrapbooks are full of "handout" shots like these offered by this seller, and his own personal pix as well. Unbelievable collection.

Of course, I have 1st gen copies of everything ... 8)

Just hope the eBay photos end up in good hands ... I think, in the interests of cosmic justice, that I'll put high bids on 5 or 10 of them, but not enough to win ... can't let them go without some pain ...

Wade

PS: Jack, email me about something else ... think "Three" and "Five" and "Four" and, like, within a week ... :D

In the interests o cosmic justice doesn't help those of us who are actually trying to scrape together the money to acquire these pics for safe-keeping!

Well, I toned it down a bit and placed "sensible" bids on 4 or 5 of them. Not for cosmic justice, but because I want them! 8)

I have excellent large 1st gen copies of most (not all) of those shots, anyway, plus many, many high-rez scans of original 4th FG shots that have never seen the light of day (saving those for a future book that will also feature my 4th FG artwork, but I have many more 4th FG pieces to complete before that happens), so I'm not going to be heartbroken to lose - so, I place a "good, fair price" on them, and let it ride.

I'd like to see Jack Cook win the ones he doesn't already have. Can't think of a better repository for them.
