Ran across this shot of a B-25 coming in at Deer Valley Airport in between runs by dragsters on the main runway!

I feel bad for the guy on the wheel chair. He's probably thinking, "Man wish I could fly her, just once".

This was probably one of Don Underwood's airplanes. He worked several B-25s out of PHX Sky Harbor and Deer Valley back in the day in a variety of aerial application roles. The tank set up looks pretty familiar. If this was his ship, the date of this photo would have been pre-1968, as that year he sold his B-25s to the production company that was ramping up with inventory for "Catch-22." Neat shot. Dunno who the guy in the chair is... and Deer Valley is a pretty busy field today so they probably wouldn't let folks roll around the area to have a look at airplanes in this fashion....

Now this is an extremely long shot, but it's possible that the fella in the wheelchair is Ray Godman. He was a well known drag racer from the early days and ran the Tennessee Bo-Weevil. Here's a link to a more recent photo......
