According to the Andrews AFB JSOH website for the air show this weekend, May 18-20, the YAM C-47, B-17 and B-25 are listed as "performers." In Addition the MAAM B-25 and the Vintage Thunderbird T-33 are listed as performers.

I was wondering if someone could confirm that these aircraft are going to fly in the show on Friday and Saturday as part of an 60th Anniversary Air Force History Fly-by?

This looks like it should be a great air show and the weather looks good too.

Jim,

All three YAM aircraft are scheduled to fly all three days of the show. If you stop by the B-17, tell Norm you know Todd from Yankee.

I have been informed that MAAM's B-25J "Briefing Time" has cancelled and will not be atttending this event.

Todd - thanks very much for the update. It is great news to know that the 3 YAM birds will be flying in the show at Andrews. It is especially good to hear that the C-47 is scheduled to fly - I have seen the B-17 and B-25 in the air at Thunder Over Michigan in 2005 and 2006, but have not yet seen the C-47 fly.

I will try to say hi to Norm if I get a chance. I hope to be at the show on Saturday. I plan to be at Thunder Over Michigan in July and I am looking forward to the show.
