IIRC, the right (starboard) side is marked as it appeared in the Indian AF No. 6 Squadron with what appears to be some "winged, water creature".
I'm sure someone here will have better information...

You are right, have the bird is still in Indian Colors. Here is the closest thing to a shot of it I have...
And a shot of the B-17's belly turret.
