While driving near Lima, OH yesterday I spotted a Chinook helo going by with a sling load of another airplane. Since they appeared to be headed that direction I swung by the local airport and found them there. Their load was a T-28 in faded Navy colors. It appeared like Lima was just a fuel stop but didn't have a chance to ask where they were headed.

Spotted this going north west over Boscobel WI. this morning about 11a

more then one way to get old planes off the ground

Now that’s hauling a T-28 in style.

I usually just load ‘em onto my trailer.

I bet a C-5 gets better mileage than my big stupid pickup truck, anyway.
