This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Watch out it may lead to "aids"
Aviation induced divorce syndrome
Happens to the best

Heck! I'd be trying to beat you out the door! I guess it just doesn't matter how many times that beautiful sound has been heard before! I still drop everything I'm doing to run outside! But then, I'm going through "Warbrid Withdrawal" -- Last week I actually blew a couple red lights and caught myself doing about 65 in a 25 just to see a couple Hercs landing at Quonset! Good thing there wasn't any traffic on the road!

I am, I am just about finished with my private pilots license. Hoping to get into flight school in the fall. I am super excited!
And I don't know any other girls into flying (aside from Beachgirl on here) - but trust me, it seems to be just as hard to find men into aviation. They are few few few and far between up here.

I give my wife credit...she "tolerates" being dragged around one or two airshows in the summer but gives me that look toward the end of the airshow performances. I'd love to spend an entire week at places like Oshkosh but she would never go for it and would insist on staying home.

My wife has been to her share of airshows and she tolerates my complete immersion in the subject of museums, jets, and warbids in general.
It's been going on since the CAF shows were still held in Galveston.
She's special.

We have been so busy here in the office, that I have had to ask my wife to come in to volunteer for 10 hours to help answer calls from the California area.
Not only does she put up with me working 65+ hour weeks, but now she has had to come in to give me a hand so that I can try to keep up with the 5 phone lines.
I hope everyone in the San Jose/Mt. View area is as excited to see the aircraft as you are.
