Mega Movers and MAAM

Sun May 20, 2007 7:02 pm

The Mid-Atlantic Air Musuem is supposed to be on a segment of Mega Movers. It is scheduled to air on June 14th. The segment is going to be about the recovery of the P-61.

That is going to be cool. I heard that they were going to move the old hangar that houses the C-119 to the other side of the field. Have you heard that?

The old hangar is too far gone to be saved at this point.

OHHHHHH!!! That sucks. That is a cool old building. Are there more buildings going up at MAAM? That P-61 is going to need some room. I know Russ wasn't happy about having anything out doors.

I think I saw in the newspaper that some hangars are in the works. I'm not really sure though.

The old hangar is also the same construction as the one the Yankee Air Force had......so also considering that, it probably wouldn't be a good idea to house airplanes.

Yeah not good at all. Thanks for the heads up.
