P-40 N-Number?

Sat Jun 02, 2007 4:05 pm

Does anyone know the N Number on this P-40? The registry isn't up to date and neither is Peter-Oh-Four's site...

That bird was Dick Hansens p-40.I dont know who owns the bird now.

That's N9837A, ex-Dick Hansen (Batavia, Illinois), at one point tipped to be bound for the Potter collection here in Canada, but ultimately she went to Bob Baranaskas' Warbirds Over Long Island collection on, of course, Long Island, NY. She flies alongside P-51D "Glamorous Gal". I don't think Mr Baranaskas changed the registration, but I could be wrong...
