Mystery Of The Pittsburgh Ghost Bomber

Thu Nov 04, 2004 3:41 pm

There was a link to a story today over on www.landings.com about a B-25 that ditched in the Monongahela River just outside of Pittsburgh back in January of 1956. There seems to be quite a mystery as to what happened to the downed aircraft after the ditching & what the cargo was. The story goes on to say that some folks are searching for the aircraft & think they know where it is in the river. First time I heard this one. Thought some of our "Wixer's" might shed some light.
