Well, an armored personnel carrier at least.

This could be really bad for the Historic Military Vehicle community. Hope nobody ever goes nuts like this with a warbird...

Do you remember that we had something similar happening here in the USA a few years back?

In California, I believe it was, a guy went nuts and took an M-60 from the CA-NG and went bananas destroying cars. IIRC, he finally ran out of fuel . . .

Saludos,

Tulio

I have to admit, the song "If I Had A Rocket Launcher" frequently comes to mind when I'm paying my cell phone bill but this guy must have lost the plot. If he thought his cell phone bills were bad, wait until he gets the legal bills for this little "drive-about". Not to mention the property damage bill. :?

Got hung-up on a Jersey barrier and the cops shot him dead before he could get it moving again.

Yeah, that happened here in San Diego, CA in the Clairemont area, about five miles from downtown.

Took out quite a few parked cars before he made it to the freeway. Tried going over the barrier and got stuck. Cops had to shoot since he would not shut it down.

A buddy of mine saw that thing barreling down the road straight at him at a local business when he turned off towards the freeway.

I drive right by that armory every week and the tank parked outside brings back the sight of that thing on the news mowing down cars.

I heard the family of the guy claimed the police used "excessive force" and weren't justified in shooting him. Don't remember if they actually filed a lawsuit or not

If the feds would simply legalize private bazooka ownership, this episode never would have escalated so far.
