OK - heres the deal

I just need about 15 - 20 of you WIXrs to send about $25K and I can buy this baby (F-100F) - in exchange you get free rides any time the airshow circuit brings it into town PLUS since Wendover is right next to the UTTR if you can make it out here we'll make use of the supersonic range - NOW that ought to be worth a paltry $25K right :D

I couldn't resist - I just love the supersabre

Happy warbirding!

Randy, the museum has a couple of F-16 riders that would be qualified (or could be asap). Then the gas bill. Well, humm, ok, Jet A is $2.90 a gallon but we could get a good discount so . . . Humm, what if you ante up $300 per flight and get a tax deduction reciept?? This is a small problem right? :)

OOPS - I forgot - that cost in my prior post would be for a flight in Wendover - otherwise we could just figure in your local ride as part of the cost to the hosting air show!

I think every F-100 in the country is for sale now. I remember watching them as a kid. It was great! But the fuel prices are keeping those birds down

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.

The F-104 is just a SAM with a cockpit, no style.

:)

Quite right, the best looking century series fighter is obviously the F-101 :)

While I have an affinity for the Thud I can agree that the Voodoo is a very cool looking aircraft.

No, the F-104 is a dragster, really fast in a straight line but god help you if you have to turn :)

Still... I can't help thinking the 104 is the best looking century fighter. I think one would look great sitting in my driveway! :P
