They're still researching the actual missions, but NEAM's A-26 Invader "Reida Rae" may have flown over 100 Combat Missions in the ETO.
That was via one it's pilot's, the late Jack Buskirk.

In the UK, TFC's P-39, F6F, FG-1D, Hawk 75, Spitfire V and P-51D all supposedly have combat to their name. Most of the airworthy early-mark Spitfires and Hurricanes are combat vets, as are any Russian recoveries (I can only think of P-40s & Hurricanes from this source that have actually been restored to fly so far)

Many of the ex-Israeli P-51s are also combat vets, although the identities of some of these are somewhat convoluted!

B-25D "Yankee Warrior" is supposedly a combat Vet, serving in Italy.

Also, isn’t the C.A.F.'s B-25J "Maid in the Shade" a combat vet as well?

The OFMC's Spitfire IX MH434 is in it's original markings as is TFC's Spitfire V EP120. The BBMF's Spitfire II P7350 changes colors frequently but I believe it has been in one of it's original schemes in the past and is an authentic Battle of Britain veteran.

Speaking of BoB. What Battle of Britian veterans are out there?

Just found out ... I think there's a current flying fighter, I think a P-40 that actually has a bullet hole repair that is purposely in view .... does this sound true?

I think that the FHC Tomahawk (formerly TFC) which was recovered from Russia had some repaired bullet holes in it.

Planes of Fame SBD is a combat veteran with both the USN and NZ.

before they were LID (lost in divorce) I had pictures of the bullet holes in the wing of the FHC Tomahawk. so yes, it was a combat vet - just don't know much of the history

The Collings Foundation A-26 is a combat vet, it even has the repair marks to prove it.

I believe the Fighter Factory's Hurricane is a BoB vet, their P-40 is a combat vet, as is their 109.

Whats the combat history on MAAM P-61?

It certainly did. I remember looking over (and photographing) it when it was stored at Duxford for a couple of years.

It had a bullet hole in the oil tank (which brought it down) as well as others in the airframe. A real time capsule, it still had the 'U S Army' lettering under the wings, with the Russian stars and number painted over the top of the US scheme.

I think Chino’s Planes of Fame Dauntless flew some combat in the Pacific with the RNAF.

Way back in the mid 1980s, there was a P-51D named "Double Trouble" that had several kills. When the aircraft was displayed, the owner also displayed photographs from the gun camera that showed the aircraft shooting down a few german fighters

IIRC, Kermit Week's "Whistler's Mother" has both WWII and Korean combat history; I could be wrong though. Should there be a separate thread for "static and flying warbirds with combat service in more than one conflict"?
