To be honest, I don't know who owns it and we have been asked not to reveal details of the project at this time. Mike V might be able to shed more light when the time is right.

Got Mine - pleased to see your article of big ugly pommie biplanes - one of my favourites .

What about an article on the whole subject of other stupidly big ugly Pommie stuff like Baffin , Vildebeste, Vincent etc make for a most amusing read I think - why build such gigantic single prop brick outhouses!!! I just love them - it was like there was some sort of twisted contest going on

I recieved my copy yesterday. Great job guys, I was especially pleased to see an article featuring my favorite underappreciated warbird, the CJ-6 along with it's Yak cousins.

Hi John,
Thanks for the comments on Stringbags. A great aircraft for W.W.I. OK for W.W.II. Still not sure why the Royal Navy decided not to use them in Korea. ;)

As regards items like the Blackburn Blackburn - lovely stuff. Bit rare though! And when it came to odd planes the French Multiplace du Combat of the 1930s were outright winners of the pre Stealth ugly awards...

Nor remember, bring back the planes this time John... :D

Glad everyone likes the issue(s) we need the feedback so keep it coming please!

Wotss yer exptad date of arrrivel here tin Oz?

I don't have much say in whats comming back but I think the Bearcats and some of the Spads will come here - Who knows he has the money - I just get to argue with the burecrats..

I have found two more Bearcats but they are said to be "rough" so we will see next month - a real adventure though and the "client" is a nice guy if a little shy!!!

I just looked up that french thing you mentioned - looks like two Baffins flew into a blender and came out joined together - backwards!! and it actually Flew? Mon Du

My mailbox had my copy on SAT the 20th. Postmarked the 18th.

On page five I spotted my dad (blue shirt/tan shorts with backpack) in the TP-51C picture... then realized I should be close by and there are my skinny legs under the nose. Can just make out my green backpack! So... am I famous... again!?!?

Great issue, Tim, James K., Jim Church and all!!!

I sat down and read a couple of articles over lunch today. Hope to finish reading it this evening after I get in from flying. Great Job Guys!!! Another issue well done!
