Hey all, nice forum you have here! I'm glad I found it.

I have a couple of things I'd like to request that I think you folks might be able help me with.

The first thing is a Stick Force Sensor box for an F-15. I'm currently converting the cockpit section of F-15C 80-0007 into a flight simulator and the SFS box is one of the last items on my "unobtainium" list. Any ideas where I can find one? It doesn't need to have the LVDT electronics inside, but should include the pinky lever on top.

Next, I'm looking for accurate station outlines (with drawing scale) for a Bf109. I need the stations from the firewall to about 2 feet aft of the cockpit. This is for a seconday project I'm helping a fellow sim builder with.

For those that want to check out my project, head over to http://www.f15sim.com.

Thanks all!

g.

Hey! I should've known you'd be here. :) When are you going to make it out this way again?

Have you seen the new wing at the MoF yet? I about had a screaming fit when I found out they'd put the Champlin '109 on a stick. Of all the humiliating things to do to perfectly good airframe. *sobs*

Is the MoF open again? Is it still located at the Santa Monica airport?

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.

Mike, he's referencing the Museum of Flight in Seattle. I am a Seattle native (and used to even work at the MoF over a decade ago...) as is Gene.
