A-26 Restoration Project

Mon Jul 30, 2007 11:16 pm

I am new and was wondering if there are any links to A-26 projects from the past. I am working with a group in Oklahoma City to restore one which has converted to the executive version.

The wing had a broken spare on one side and while in storage, an Oklahoma tornado tore into the hanger and damaged the plane parts even worse.

We are getting work done steadly but slow.

Just look at http://www.contrails.us/~sh_a-26/Links.htm for the group webpage.

Jet mech, if you would, give us an occasional update (with the mandatory pictures), just to lest us know the status of the old girl..... Thanks, Alan
