Arrived

Mon Nov 22, 2004 2:00 pm

My mailbox had my copy on SAT the 20th. Postmarked the 18th.

On page five I spotted my dad (blue shirt/tan shorts with backpack) in the TP-51C picture... then realized I should be close by and there are my skinny legs under the nose. Can just make out my green backpack! So... am I famous... again!?!?

Great issue, Tim, James K., Jim Church and all!!!

RECEIVED!!! :D

I sat down and read a couple of articles over lunch today. Hope to finish reading it this evening after I get in from flying. Great Job Guys!!! Another issue well done!

I had a hard time putting it down and going back to work.

Thank you Tim, Jim, and everybody else involved at Warbird Digest!

Roger- If you haven't gotten yours by next week, give me a call and we will put another copy in the mail. We have heard from others in your part of the world who recieved theirs, so there is a chance it is lost.

Hi Tim,

Great news, a three-legged donkey showed up at my door today with my Warbirds Digest. This is great, unfortunately, the donkey was on his last leg, had to put him down. Gotta go now, have some reading to do...............Roger :partyman:

Roger- Glad your issue finally showed up!

Rob- I think you will be happy with the cover of the next issue. I finally got my way (had to fight off Jim Church - the world's biggest Mustang fan) and there is a radial powered bird on the cover.

Thanks to everyone on WIX who has supported our new venture. We are having a lot of fun and it makes it even better when people enjoy our work.

Tim

nice job tim!

Nice job on the 2nd issue tim! Love that back cover photo again! Do I
detect a pattern? its ok.. I have a young son too!

as for the rest fo the mag -- Love the operators corner... thats one of
neater aspects of the mag that haven't seen before. Also really like the
"warbirds on paper" book reviews - nice, and written by someone that
appears to have read the book! (Met hargreaves at EAA this year..
interesting guy, and fascinating once you got him talking!) The idea of
doing both current and/or out of print books is very appealing.
Movie reviews... the concept of 2 people reviewing is uniquely great
and makes an interesting comparison.

Also like the title "resurrection report.." :-) very appropo...

only thing I could suggest to add - aeroplane mag has done a 2 pager on
cockpit photos - most recently the b26 @ dayton done by patterson..
love that stuff...

anyway, keep up the great work!
