It shows you what bureaucracy can do.
Thank God for guys like Weeks, Maloney, and many others who put their efforts into saving planes we can all enjoy.
And having some experience with bureaucracy in the form of the USAF Museum, I really hope they don't send "Shoo Shoo Baby" off to some base to rot, just because some general wants it. The USAF does stnge things with its historic AC simply at the whim of someboody with stars...witness very incorrect markings at Lackland a other bases...and rare plane sbeing left to rot outdoors.

You are right. Make no mistake the Air Force is a good organization which does a great job at defense. However, case in point the V-neck T-shirt replacing a crew neck, because a general's wife thought it didn't look good.
