Sorry Mike of course

The non licenced knock off, Nuclear armed version ..... What was it again the Stirchar or the Yumling I forget - I'm sure Robbo has an excellent shot of it at Leg ends last year in formation with the Mongolian Flying Flea strike fighter.

Regards.... I'm getting old fancy forgetting that!!!!

Regards
John P

I'm pretty sure it was one of the re-engined turboprop conversions, John.

That is great news about the Fighter Factory, VA. They are putting together a great collection! I can't wait to go down and see it some time.

Scott, please take lots of pictures and post them (as if I have to ask or even suggest that  )

I'd like to see a few more of their A/C hitting the air show circuit. Any word on the P-39 or Bf-109 they have?

What you mean the four pristine Hercules engines that were found in a Beijing warehouse?

Andy- how do you know about those - its a secret !! Please delete this before anyone sees it ! The engines are left over after the turboprop conversions - usually they are put in the unliscenced Beaufighter crop sprayers they have just put in production in Shanghai - they call them Whishperrring Deefff but on this occasion there are 4 still undisturbed in storage.

I hope the guys in the states doing the Ki 61s are talking to the Wangaratta mob here - it seems silly to have two major projects under way if they aren't talking - tooo many good opportunities to share.

Regards
John P
