This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Mind you they could do with a few aviation related smilies, like a Mk9 Spitfire

Geoff.

We better make sure that Scott the webmaster has a full glass, after all, he's being terribly hospitable giving all us refugees a place to gather out of the cold.

Have a beer Scott :drinkers:

Cheers :partyman:

Do they do 'Spitfire' here? :prayer: :drinkers:

A pint of Spitfire...now that would be nice.

So, plenty of emoticons but you can't upload photos directly. I think I prefer the photo uploads.

And you lot are correct...God help us if Anna ever finds this place.

Just had one, thanks Steve :D

I don't know, perhaps we should send her over here.....

:bear:

Why the :bear: bear Von P? Well, you'll have to ask the Canadians that. Presumably there are times that only a bear will do... Notie there's no Roo, nor Kiwi, nor an Umberella for the Pommie members.

(Ah, my local Canadian tells me that it's a requirement to have a bear emoticon. It's just considered the bear necessity. )

Ever feel like the local whiskey drinking biker pubs closed for a week and they've all come into your own bar? MY Champagne! Gerrrooffff!

Cheers

Hic.

With all this virtual beer, I feel virtually drunk.

I've just mailed Nealh but has anyone told Kev35 and Moggy where we are?

Blimey, there's some serious smiley-overdoses going on here tonight. Are you SURE Anna's not here...?

Had a rather cryptic message from young Snapper, via a text this evening. Something about being too busy to notice the FP forum's gone because he's faffing around with gun cameras. Odd chap.

So Geoff, any hints as to BoBHSoc's good news? I know the website states they're now £350k short, so I'm wondering whether the news might be something to do with funding?

Did nt have you down for champagne drinker there JDK!

They had film of the visit on Meridian news, the foundry is in Basingstoke, from the few shots of the bronzes they showed it does look good, great detail, should be stunning when complete

Hiya Steve, welcome back. As for the photo thing, yeah it is a pain in the butt and I have tried several solutions but nothing that worked as well as the FP system. I was considering changing software to the FP type but considering thier stability issues of late It might not be worth it. I will be on the watch for a module for this system to be developed.

Besides, photobucket.com does an excellent job and its free, though I admit it is an extra step.
