there a lot of amasing original aircraft... with an original Avro Lancaster of the Aéronavale, under restauration
a link with some airplane restorated by the "ailes anciennes du Bourget" (with the Lancaster WU 21 the only one in continental Europe
http://fredlechon.free.fr/aalb/
The website of the Lancaster: http://perso.orange.fr/eternal.flight/w ... acl_f.html
and http://perso.orange.fr/eternal.flight/w ... acl_e.html (english text)

The Martin Marauder is entirely original in the planes of 1940, His tail turret is a true which was especially restored.

Here's a few pictures I took in mid April 2007 of the Paris B-26. It is really an awesome restoration!

Here's a few more pictures from my visit there in April 2007.

You can go inside the C-47 and there's a very cool multimedia setup that has the engine sounds of start-up, taxi and takeoff and then flashing lights and explosions like you're in heavy flak. A very well done museum display.

Hi Guys,

EXCELLENT shots. Thanks for positing them. I especially like the Martin B-26 ones....it is nice to see one intact and so well taken care of. I wish more of this type were flyable and more importantly, around, even for museums. It seems that folks almost want to forget the Martin B-26 due to how few remain.

"Spitfire (the sign said MkXVI)"

...and the sign was correct. RR263 of the RAF but painted as "TB597".
