Beautiful pictures, thanks for posting!

Out of curiosity, was the Beaufighter originally built with the lumpy autopilot housing?

cheers

2 things though,
1 why havent they completed the markings on the upper surface of the Lancasters wings?

2 Is the shack really going to be sectioned then?

Not sure about the markings on the lanc, but regarding the shackleton what I have read on another forum is that they are having to take the outer wings off for inspection and then it will be moved into hangar 5 (restoration hangar) but I don't know if this is correct.

What's wrong with the markings on the Lanc?
It's not supposed to have the white rings if that's what you mean.

What's the background on the Mistubishi Zero? Are they going to restore it? Great pictures!

Only thing I can see missing on the Lanc is the big red square outlining the life raft compartment, and maybe the outboard walkway stencils.

Is she a Canadian built Mk X, or a British built BI/III with a Martin upper turret?

I don't know it's background but it's going to be restored for static display at the museum.
