I don't recall if Parks is still active, but located near or at the Lambert Field? The old installations across the river, in IL are mostly deserted, with only a T-39 Sabreliner left there.

Just wanted to let folks know that I've been busy here in Florida for three weeks and have not had the opportunity to get back home to do my mail outs.

I received further correspondance from Mr. Genne regarding the usage of his photo collection. His quote is as follows:

It was my intention that the photos be freely used by anyone with an interest in the Navy Unit, Navy personnel or the Navy aircraft. The pictures are free to be used in personal collections, as part of a publication, or as a project. However, as the copyright holder of the collection, I do request that the source of individual photos or the collection itself be documented. A simple notation will do; e.g. "Joe Genné Photo" or "Joe Genné Collection."

Rob, I have only been a member here for less than a year and did not see these photos on the first go-round. I am learning that there is a tradition of sharing on this forum like no other place I have seen and this is yet another fantastic collection.

I thank you and Mr. Genne for the opportunity to see (and use!) these wonderful photos (as well as Bust a Stitch, Django, michaelharadon and Shay for waking me up to the fact that the material was here).

My question is what is the pod under the wing?

I thought it was a liferaft Shay, but Wiki says she carried a surface-scan radar
under her right wing hardpoint And yes Jack..Seahawk used the Wright 1820.
She also had a bunk in the back to accomodate a rescued person.

I'd love to see more of the pictures as well. How could I obtain a copy of the CD for my collection? I'd love to build a RC version of the Seahawk and those photos make it much easier to design it.
