For Oz members: An Affair with Connie

Mon Nov 29, 2004 2:18 am

History Channel tonight [29Nov04] at 1930 Eastern Summer Time.

The story of the recovery of VH-EAG "Southern Preservation", known to all her friends as "Connie." My US mates tell me this has been on History Channel in the USA before.

G'day

For those who miss it [at the risk of upsetting Scott?], the video is available from HARS [ www.hars.org.au] or PM me.

Sound's great, but I don't have Pay tv

Hi,
I purchased this video from the chaps with Connie at the last Avalon Airshow. I have watched the video a number of times.
All Australians should be extremely proud of the efforts HARS and its members made in getting Connie to Australia.
A super human effort and I for one am eternally gratefull for the efforts of these dedicated men.
Thank you one and all,
Martin

Hi Martin and others.

Yes the connie is great but the fact that they also run TWO Neptunes and the Cat on top of the smaller fleet is an awsome undertaking too.
