This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

A while back, on the FP forum, there was talk of having a forum meet sometime before Xmas, either one central meet or several around the country for the benefit of those who can't travel too far.
As we will soon be into December, I'd just like to bring the subject up again and to see if we can get something going.
For me, I'd like to see several meets around the country, and having no access to a car, can I suggest Brooklands as the venue for the London/South East meet? With the date to be sorted out by those who would like to come.
Over to you.
Geoff.

Did Brooklands a few weeks back with Setter. Dank, dingy and not much to see other than heaps of dismantled / chopped of bits of some sharp pointy white airliner all over the place.
Wouldn't rush back.
How about Central London? IWM and Science Museum, and a visit to Motorbooks thrown in?

That sounds OK to me Mike, anyone else up for it?
What about the date? Can't make this weekend or the next, but how does either the 18th or 19th December sound?
A forum meet in the Motor Books 'cellar' sounds great.
