Has anyone noticed that Old Red Nose is not on the attendance list? That is a significant bird, to the CAF anyway, to not have in attendance.

Airsho is the same weekend, so I wouldn't expect any CAF aircraft to show.
Really poor planning to have GML and Airsho the same weekend.
Which one are you gonna choose?

But Reg Urschler is listed as an attendee in Ohio. Guess the CAF decided to participate both places.

Just got back from Rickenbacker after checking out the area. They have most of the chalet tents up and the west grandstands are up. Also, there is an AN-124 at the airport. Not much else to see yet.

I think Kelly & I are down to just Thursday and Friday. Trying to get back to the show on Sunday after a Saturday night Wedding will be to much. This makes me very sad but I guesss 2 days is better than none.

I'm staying in a Red Roof Motel in Grove City for the gathering. This is located just off of the I-71. About 2/3 of a mile South of the I-270E. Is anybody passing by here that I can hitch a ride with in to the airport in the mornings?

I'm there as well from Wednesday evening, together with a rental car, may well be able to give you a lift.

Hi guys, I will be at the RED ROOF INN in Grove City. I will get in early Thurs morning for the show. I will be there till Sunday morning. Maybe we can all link up after the show in lobby or something . PM me or drop me a e mail.

We are staying in Grove City also, arriving on friday at 10AM, going in friday/saturday/sunday

Not being familiar with the area and places to meet up makes
this kinda tough.
At other events like Thunder, many have met in a selected hotel lobby
in the evenings after the day's events between 6:30-7pm.
Often groups have then gone to dinner and back to the hotel lobby after.
I know a lot of WIXers are staying at the Obetz Comfort Inn.
This maybe as good of place as any unless somebody has a better
location or idea?

Just finishing plans to get there. Sounds like we're getting in late Wed. or on Thurs. morning. Depending upon weather in the mid-west, a/c problems, etc. In company with four Mustangs from the NW

Looks like we have our own Red Roof Inn chapter of WIX then. Why don't we try to get together at the hotel as racer55 suggests? I'm leaving Oslo in a couple of hours on my way to Murrieta, CA for the weekend. I fly over to Columbus on Thursday evening, arriving Friday morning. Will go straight to Rickenbacker from there I guess.
