I thought that the newer ERJ Regional Jets came close. I don't mean that they operate them in that range, but are capable of coming close.

The DC-8 was one of the first, if not the first civilian jet to go supersonic.

I don't know about airliners but a Handley Page Victor went supersonic on a test flight. At the time it was the largest aircraft to have exceeded Mach 1.
